All the World's a Stage
Here's the video I promised. It is taken from a spotlight cove above the stage so some parts didn't come out perfectly, but most of it is just as the audience perceived it. Forgive a few louder laughs, as I was seated right beside the camera and I had not yet seen this play, so the mic picked me up.

DramaFest 2010
Here's the story of my crazy trip, for those of you who don't know what happened to me in the last few days.
Tuesday afternoon I got a desperate phone call from a friend of mine (Craig), begging me to be a chaperon for the high school drama club. I agreed, and 12 hours later I got on the bus for ENMU, bound for DramaFest 2010.
Four days of madness ensued. The video will be posted shortly.
Because of my conduct, and my strange ability to get along with the high school students while at the same time making sure they stay out of trouble, Nina, the adult responsible for all this, offered me a position as Assistant Sponsor for the high school theater troupe. Basically, this means that I'll help produce and direct shows in addition to making sure no one kills themselves during the course of them.
When I got back in town last night, I immediately had to go into work at Starbucks, at which I talked to several people about what just happened to me. One person offered to hire me to produce short films for her, and another came to me, saying his band needed a bass player.
So in effect, I got an all-expenses-paid trip to see a theater festival, a job offer, a film gig and a potential band in the course of four crazy days.
Stay tuned for a video, which will be posted shortly.
